In the past planning an African Safari was one of the easiest of tasks. The world was far apart geographically, culturally, ethnically, and on multiple other considerations. People had to take into consideration the best time that was usually winter or part of spring for moving for the safari.

As Africa in those days was not one of the friendliest continents for landing; multiple considerations came up before the safari aspirants. While in the past it took huge number of staff and tons of supplies, arms, and ammunitions to carry out the safari, today everything is available on the spot. Only thing that has remained unchanged is the abundance of wildlife in the forests.

Form of enjoying the Safari Holidays has also changed considerably. No further hunting and shooting from the rifles. Today the only shooting that is done is from the digital camera, not to kill, but to catch the memorable moments in the camera.
